What preparations should be made before inserting rock bolts?

Before installation, inspect the anchor bolts to ensure they meet design specifications, length requirements, etc. Manually insert anchor bolts with anchor heads. When drilling upward holes, secure the exhaust pipe to the anchor bolt body, ensuring it extends approximately 0.5 meters beyond the hollow anchor bolt tail. When insertion is difficult, withdraw the anchor rod, clean the hole with an air drill, and reinsert it. Anchor rods above the arch crown must be securely fixed to the mesh or connecting reinforcing bars to prevent them from falling off and causing injury. Install the grout plug and tighten it securely. Ensure the exhaust pipe is protected and avoid crushing or damaging it.
