How Does a Resin Capsule Work?
Insertion:The capsule is placed into a pre-drilled borehole.
Mixing: The rock bolt is inserted and rotated, rupturing the capsule and mixing the resin and catalyst.
Curing: The chemical reaction causes the resin to harden rapidly, anchoring the bolt within seconds or minutes
Load Bearing: Once cured, the system provides massive pull-out resistance to stabilize the rock strata
