The supporting function of anchor rods
Suspension function
Suspension refers to the practice of suspending the roof of a tunnel from stable rock strata to enhance roof stability.
Combination Beam Function
Combined beam action refers to the process of assembling multiple anchor rods to form an integrated structure with the tunnel roof, thereby enhancing the roof's load-bearing capacity.
Reinforcing effect
Reinforcement refers to the process of enhancing the strength and stability of surrounding rock by drilling holes around the tunnel, installing anchor bolts, and injecting grout, thereby improving the rock mass's self-supporting capacity.

What regulations must be followed when drilling anchor bolt holes?
When the cross-sectional dimensions of the roadway do not meet the requirements of the operating procedures as determined by strict inspection along the centerline, take corrective action in advance.
Thoroughly inspect the roof and side walls, carefully examine the surrounding rock conditions, remove loose debris and unstable rocks to ensure a safe working environment;
Determine the anchor bolt positions according to the layout specified in the work procedures, and mark them with chalk or yellow clay.
Inspect and prepare the drill string cable or water-air line, and mark the hole depth on the anchor rod.
