Common types of support equipment:
Rock Bolt:
Principle: Connects loose rock mass into a whole by anchoring, improving the strength and stability of the rock mass.
Resin bolt
Structure: It consists of steel rod, resin medicine roll and stopper.
Characteristics: High anchoring force, fast installation, applicable to various rock types.
Construction: Load the resin roll into the drilled hole, insert the anchor and rotate it so that the resin mix cures and bonds the anchor firmly to the rock.
Main brands: DYWI, Hilti.
Key parameters: rod diameter, length, tensile strength, yield strength, resin type, curing time.
Grout Bolt:
Structure: consists of a steel rod and cement mortar.
Characteristics: Lower cost, but the anchoring force is not as good as resin anchor.
Construction: Cement mortar is injected into the drilled holes, anchor rods are inserted, and after the mortar is solidified, the anchor rods are combined with the rock body.
Self-Drilling Anchor:
Structure: composed of hollow steel rod, drill bit and connecting sleeve.
Characteristics: Integrating drilling, anchoring and grouting functions, suitable for broken rock layers.
Construction: Utilizing hollow steel rods to drill holes while injecting cement slurry to achieve anchoring.
Main brands: Minova, Atlas Copco (now Epiroc), DSI.
Key Parameters: Drill Diameter, Rod Outer Diameter, Inner Diameter, Tensile Strength, Yield Strength, Grouting Pressure.
Expansion Shell Bolt:
Structure: composed of anchor rod, expansion shell and spacer.
Characteristics: Relying on the friction between the expansion shell and the hole wall to provide anchoring force, easy to install.
Construction: Insert the anchor into the drill hole, tighten the nut, so that the expansion shell expands and comes into close contact with the hole wall.
Application: Roadway roof, side gang support, slope reinforcement, etc.
