A friction anchor will exert three forces on the surrounding rock, a radial pressure on the hole wall over the full length of the slotted anchor, a frictional force to stop the surrounding rock from sliding down, and a supporting force from the friction anchor pallet, which makes the surrounding rock more stable.

Pipe seam anchor rod is a new type of anchor rod that actively strengthens the surrounding rock by anchoring the entire length. Its three-dimensional part is a high-strength steel pipe with a longitudinal seam.
Three directional force state
When installed in a borehole slightly smaller than the pipe diameter, radial pressure and frictional force can be immediately applied to the borehole wall throughout the entire length to prevent the surrounding rock from sliding down, combined with the support force of the anchor rod tray, thereby placing the surrounding rock in a three-dimensional stress state and achieving rock stability.


The anchoring force has significantly increased
The pipe seam anchor rod has a significant increase in anchoring force in the later stage under conditions such as blasting vibration and rock displacement. When the rock undergoes significant displacement, the anchor rod does not lose its supporting resistance, and it has better characteristics than the expansion shell anchor rod.

Quality assurance, easy installation
The raw material for the pipe seam anchor rod is high-strength alloy strip steel, and the anchor rod hole position is determined according to the design requirements. The drilling machine is used to drill holes, and the anchor plate is installed on the rod body. The anchor rod is driven into the hole with an impact drill.

The frictional force between the anchor rod and the rock mass is high
Three types of forces will be applied to the surrounding rock, one is radial pressure on the hole wall within the full length range of the pipe seam anchor rod, one is frictional force to prevent the surrounding rock from sliding down, and the other is the support force of the pipe seam anchor rod tray plate, which makes the surrounding rock more stable.

In coal seams: drilling diameter=(0.9-1.00) × anchor rod diameter
Drilling depth of anchor rod: anchor rod length+200mm, drilling slope<1.5%

Determine the anchor bolt hole position according to the design requirements and use drilling tools to drill holes.

Blow away the rock powder inside the hole with compressed air.
