What Is Self Drilling Anchor (SDA)?
Self-drilling anchor rods consist of a rod body (hollow fully threaded rod), connecting sleeve, disposable drill bit, arched shim plate, and nut. During grouting, a rubber water-stopping grout plug can be added to the anchor rod tail. During drilling, a drill bit tail (with the same external shape as a standard drill rod) is attached to the anchor rod tail via the connecting sleeve.

Products Description
01
Pre-construction Preparation
Inspect all drilling rig functions for normal operation, check for damage to drill bits and rods, and ensure rod flow is unobstructed. After confirming no issues, thread the hollow anchor rod to be used with the drill bit.
02
Drilling and Grouting
Connect the rod and grouting pipe to the drilling rig via a rotating grouting adapter. Perform grouting during drilling to achieve simultaneous drilling and grouting.
03
Anchor Bar Extension
If a single self-drilling anchor bar is insufficient for the design drilling depth, extend it using connection sleeves to meet requirements.
04
Install Washers and Nuts
After grouting, sequentially install washers and nuts on the exposed section of the self-drilling anchor bar adjacent to the construction surface to ensure secure anchoring.
